Sacks of Bozeman is a non-profit thrift store providing major financial support to the Bozeman Help Center and Sexual Assault Counseling Center. We offer affordable, gently-worn clothing, furniture and miscellaneous household items. Donations of quality, resalable items are accepted during regular donation hours. Emergency vouchers are available to those in need. Vouchers may only be obtained through Sacks directly.

Family Services offers a helping hand to local families in need and various other services. Music and summer camps are available for youth. Call Frank at 586-5813 ext. 23 for more information and he will return your message. Family Services also participates in the collection of goods for community drives to benefit those in need. Look for these events during the year: School Supply Drive before th eschool year starts, Coat Drive during late fall, Thanksgiving meal deliveries to Seniors and shut-ins, and the Angel Tree before Christmas.

The thrift shop offers used clothing, furniture, and miscellaneous household items at low prices. Donations of clothing and household items are accepted. The store is operated to support the work of the Salvation Army in helping the homeless and providing emergency assistance. 586-9051.

The Bozeman office is located one block west of Costco in Bozeman. The office is on the northwest corner of Catron and 27th Avenue.

The Network Against Sexual & Domestic Abuse provides personal, phone and legal advocacy, access to 24 hr crisis hotline locally, domestic violence shelter, support groups for children and adults, community education on domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking and related issues, referrals to other agencies, attorneys, services and resources. Offers volunteer training and coordination with other agencies and with law enforcement. Call 586-4111 for the 24-hr crisis line.

The Center offers a resource library to all parents in the community. Books on parenting issues may be checked out for a two-week period. Social Club for Senior Citizens. Serving meals. We are a non-profit organization giving seniors a place to socialize as well as getting 2 hot nutritious meals a week and any other activities the seniors are interested in. Lots of information is available to our seniors, with speakers, etc.

The Parent Liaison Program partners with schools to support parents as well as teachers to achieve the common goal of children as successful learners. The Parent Liaisons contact parents of children in the local schools at the beginning of the school year and throughout the year to provide one-on-one support and act as a resource for parents. The Child Advancement Project (CAP) provides one-on-one mentoring for children in the local public schools, giving kids the support and encouragement they need to develop their academic and/or social skills. Each year, over 400 children in our local schools are matched up with volunteer mentors from the Bozeman Community. The Parent Place Family Resource Center provides a comfortable environment for parents looking for parenting resources or assistance. The lending library includes books, tapes and videos, and internet access is available. Parenting classes and parent support groups are also offered. The Parent Place staff provides one-on-one support and assistance accessing resources and information. The Partnership Project to Strengthen Families provides intense family support services including home visits, assistance accessing community resources and ongoing support. Service provider partners are Prevent Child Abuse, Inc., City-County Health Department and the Bozeman School District.
